Ly-6C/G-transfected cell line -biotin

Mouse Ly-6C and Ly-6G are glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored cell-surface proteins belonging to the Ly-6 family of lymphocyte antigens. Ly-6C and Ly-6G are expressed primarily on distinct subsets of myeloid cells and are widely used as markers for the identification and characterization of mouse immune-cell populations.
Ly-6G is highly expressed on neutrophils and is commonly used as a marker for identifying and analyzing mouse neutrophil populations. Ly-6C is expressed on subsets of monocytes, particularly inflammatory or classical monocytes, as well as on certain other leukocyte populations. The combined detection of Ly-6C and Ly-6G is therefore frequently used to distinguish and characterize myeloid-cell subsets in mouse tissues and peripheral blood.
Anti-mouse Ly-6C/G antibodies recognize Ly-6C and/or Ly-6G antigens and are valuable tools for immunophenotyping and studying myeloid-cell biology. Depending on the antibody clone and its specificity, these antibodies may be used in applications such as flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, cell depletion, and other immunological assays. They are widely used in research involving inflammation, infection, hematopoiesis, tumor immunology, and immune-cell trafficking.
