m.Thy-1.2
Mouse Thy-1.2, also known as CD90.2, is a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored cell-surface glycoprotein belonging to the Thy-1 (CD90) family. Thy-1.2 is an allelic form of the Thy-1 antigen and is expressed in many commonly used laboratory mouse strains, making it a valuable marker for the identification and characterization of specific immune-cell populations.

Thy-1.2 is expressed predominantly on T lymphocytes and can also be found on certain other hematopoietic and stromal cell populations, depending on the tissue and biological context. The Thy-1 molecule has been associated with cell adhesion, signal transduction, immune-cell interactions, and the regulation of cellular differentiation.

Anti-mouse Thy-1.2 antibodies specifically recognize the Thy-1.2 (CD90.2) antigen and are widely used as research tools for immunophenotyping, flow cytometry, cell isolation, cell depletion, and immune-cell tracking. The Thy-1.1/Thy-1.2 allelic system is particularly useful for distinguishing cell populations from different mouse strains, including tracking donor and recipient lymphocytes in adoptive cell-transfer, transplantation, and immune-reconstitution studies.
